Seneca Flight Operations is committed to educational outreach to our local schools through monthly aviation education programs in association with The Glenn H Curtis Museum in nearby Hammondsport, New York
Airport tours demonstrating Aviation today combined with historic aviation education
We have a monthly program for local schools for students to learn about a typical day at a General Aviation Airport. Our hands on tour includes a tour of all runways and taxiways as well as review of equipment used on the airport for turf and grounds maintenance, snow and ice removal, fueling and deice chemical application. We conduct two presentations on the same day one day per month - we take one group in the morning (that proceeds to the Glenn Curtis Museum in the afternoon) and a group in the afternoon (a group that toured The Glenn Curtiss museum in the morning).
